Wymondham Abbey is one of South Norfolk’s prime tourist sites, with over 30,000 people visiting every year. We have fine displays explaining the fascinating history of the Abbey, the parish church and the town. We have artefacts and documents from our archives on display, some of which are over 500 years old.

As well as welcoming people from all over the world, we are a focus for local people. They may bring friends to visit, pop in to our shop, or just come to light a candle or take a few quiet moments and have a warm drink.

On this page we hope you will find links to information about how to get the best out of your visit.

"Our vision is to play our part at the heart of our wonderful town and community. I hope, having visited our website, you will come and see us in person. A very warm welcome awaits you. "
