Parish Nurse

Hello, my name is Ramona, I am pleased and privileged to have been appointed as Parish Nurse for people living in the Parish of Wymondham. I’m here to support those of all faiths and none.

I am a registered nurse employed by the Abbey to provide support to those in our community who may need support alongside what may be offered by health and social services.

This includes the following services:

• Health Advocacy
• Health Promotion
• Targeted Support – Smoking cessation/ Weight management/ Exercise/ Hypertension
• Wellbeing
• Bereavement support
• A listening ear
• Signposting to relevant services
• Spiritual Support

Please note Ramona works 16hrs a week. Normal working days – Wednesdays and Fridays
