Work on our new lighting scheme is progressing well with half of the planned 136 fittings now in place. It’s looking so much nicer and brighter already and we’ve taken the opportunity to clean the Triforium and remove all redundant fittings and electrics. The Nave ceiling is now illuminated so we can see the Angels clearly. The work should be complete in time for Easter.

We are also hoping to get on with a rope access survey of the ruined tower after Easter, and some more high-level inspections within the Abbey, as well as fixing our various roof leaks. As always thanks go to the Preservation Trust for agreeing to fund this necessary work
