“Hello my name is Bev Mulcrone. I started many years ago photographing wildlife. I then moved on to paint in acrylics and water colours and then on to coloured pencils and charcoal
Unfortunately I am unable to get out to do my wildlife photography as In January I moved in with my father who was diagnosed with terminal mesothelioma (lung cancer caused by being exposed to asbestos at work) and as it was too far advanced they were unable to offer him any treatment, so he was put on to palliative care and was given a life expectancy of a month. 9 months later he is still fighting the disease which is fantastic. I have also started making Christmas and Birthday cards. Making cards and painting is my release on the bad days and unfortunately as time progresses we have quite a few of these.”
