Reflection
‘Night is the time…’ a reflection by Margaret Silf
Night is the time to ponder the mysteries of one’s existence. It is in the dark stillness we become aware that God is immeasurably beyond our furthest gaze and yet closer than our own next breath. In darkness we find both the infinity and the intimacy of God. In times of inner darkness sometimes our hearts are opened up to more profound truth than in the brighter periods of our lives. When all your prayers are prayed, stand beneath the stars and give your soul permission to travel beyond all words, into the living, loving heart of silence.
