This talk is centred on the healing power of the medieval garden and its plants. It is given by Dr Joy Hawkins and covers causes and cures and ties these in with both physical and religious healing.
The medieval garden will be the focus so that there is a direct relevance to the Abbey's own herb garden.
The talk is free, and will be followed by herbal teas and an opportunity to talk to the speaker, a noted authority on the subject.
This talk is part of the Wymondham Open Gardens week-end, running on Saturday and Sunday 2 and 3 June.
